214 steps down, 214 up - Blackwater Falls in West Virginia. This is quite a scenic place, as photographed by Mela’s husband. The water was low at this time, so sometimes the falls are even fuller. There are hiking trails and horse paths all over this area in the mountains, near the Canaan Valley. There is a view of the falls set up for people with disabilities, for those who can’t manage the steps.
